The exhibition is dedicated to the Borowlany forest, which local residents defend against destruction.
You walk through the wood, feel the earth’s smell after the rain, hear bird’s chatter, see strange shadows, breathe the fresh air and you know that millions of fine threads exist between you and the trees, you and other people, and the rhizomes connect you with this land. Apparently, this is how the self-perception is born: you understand your origins, your identity and your own Belarusianness.
There is no need in red points in Borowlany forest, in Osmolovka, in Tractorny — do not destroy our soul and memory, our Small Motherland! We must not become homeless!
